At the Munich Show, children and young people can experience firsthand how nature and time interact. The trade fair is not only an important commercial platform, but has always been a place for imparting knowledge and enthusiasm for the treasures of our planet. On the weekend—and for school classes also during the trade visitor days—young explorers have the opportunity to go on an exciting discovery tour. In numerous hands-on activities, they can get involved themselves and learn that science and natural history can be really fun.

In captivating lectures, experts provide insights into the fascinating world of minerals, fossils, meteorites, and gemstones.

This year, children, young people, and families can pan for gold, cut gemstones, take part in the geo rally, crack geodes, carve soapstone, sift shark teeth, take part in the dinosaur tooth quiz, sift gemstones, or master the meteorite course.
