When will the Munich Show 2026 take place?
The Munich Show with the sections Gemworld and Mineralientage München will take place from Thursday, October 22 to Sunday, October 25, 2026.
NEW: This year at Entrence West of the Munich Trade Fair Centre
Is there a special trade visitors area?
No, as the event is exclusively reserved for trade professionals on the first two days, a separate trade area is no longer necessary. The last two days of the fair are open to the general public. Exhibitors who cater exclusively to resellers will mark their booths with a sign stating 'Wholesale only.' Trade professionals are, of course, also welcome to attend the public days of the fair.
How is the hall layout this year?
The Munich Show 2026 will take place in the western part of the trade fair center.
The Gemworld will be located in halls A1 and A2, while the Mineralientage will take place in halls B1, B2 and B3. The structure of the event within the halls will remain the same as in 2025.

Is there a trade visitor day?
Yes, the Munich Show will take place on 4 days this year. Thursday, 22nd and Friday, 23rd of October are reserved for registered trade visitors, Saturday and Sunday are also open to the public.
Which assortments are represented at the Munich Show?
In the area "Mineralientage München" you will find: Minerals, fossils, meteorites, rough stones, tumbled stones, handicrafts made of stones as well as accessories.
In the area "Gemworld" you will find: Jewelry, high-quality gemstones, pearls, amber, gemstone art and accessories.
What is the special exhibition theme in 2026?
The special exhibition theme for 2026 will be announced in spring 2026.

How do I register as an exhibitor for the Munich Show?
If you would like to register as a new exhibitor, you will find all the necessary documents and information online under https://munichshow.com/en/profile/sign-in?forceUserGroup=exhibitor&show=register
Depending on the chosen event area, there are different booth offers. After registration you will get access to all available forms and conditions of participation in your exhibitor profile as well as access to all orders and invoices after successful registration via form.
The deadline to register as an exhibitor ends on April 30th, 2026, after which you are
welcome to continue registering for our waiting list.
When do I have to pay for my booth?
Upon receipt of your booth invoice, 50 % of the invoice amount is due immediately. The remainder is payable no later than one month prior to the start of the event. For more information, please refer to the ATB's under item 8.
How can I pay my exhibitor invoice?
You can view and process the payment of your invoices in your online profile. The available payment options are bank transfer, credit card payment, PayPal and online transfer. You can also use our prepayment option online until April 30th, 2026.

When will the booth allocation and confirmation of participation take place?
Booth allocation will be announced at least 8 weeks before the start of the event. If you are dissatisfied with your booth location, please contact us immediately in writing at exhibitor@munichshow.com to inform us of your change requests.

As an international exhibitorr do I have to pay VAT on my booth invoice?
If we have received your valid VAT ID number (EU exhibitor) or a current proof of entrepreneur certificate (non-EU exhibitor) by the registration deadline, the invoice will be issued without VAT.
A processing fee of EUR 100,- will be charged for information supplied late. After the end of the event, no further consideration will be possible - we ask for your understanding.
Where can I get invitation letters for visa applications?
For a personal invitation letter, please send a passport copy to service@munichshow.com. Please also let us know at which embassy you are applying for your visa.
The requests will be processed from March 15th on. Please note, for exhibitors participating in the Munich Show for the first time, an additional 50% down payment of the booth fee is required. For invitation letters before June 30th, 2026 we charge EUR 50,- plus VAT per person. For orders between July 1st, 2026 and August 31st, 2026 we charge EUR 70,- plus VAT per person. From
September 1st 2026 onwards, the preparation of an invitation letter will cost EUR 90,- plus VAT per person.

Where can I order additional booth equipment?
All furniture can be found in the Munich Show product catalogue, available from May 15th 2026 on.
These as well as additional setups, carpet or technical supplies (lighting, power increase, etc.) can be requested by e-mail at support@munichshow.com until August 15th, 2026.
Late orders after this date will be subject to a 20 % processing surcharge.
Please ensure the necessary stability when setting up tables. In order to avoid the risk of tipping, please order a double folding table for your table and wall table booth by sending an email to exhibitor@munichshow.com.
Traffic, safety, logistics
How is the set-up regulated?
Set-up will begin on Tuesday, October 20th, 2026:
Tuesday, 20.10.2026: 3:00 pm-9:00 pm
Wednesday, 21.10.2026: 7:00 am-6:00 pm
The following regulations apply to pre set-up:
Tuesday, 20.10.2026: 7:00 am-3:00 pm
Exhibitors have the option of requesting early set-up before the start of the event. A fee of EUR 100.00 (net) will be charged. This is possible from a stand invoice (net) of EUR 2,000.00.
Monday, 19.10.2026: 7:00 am - 9:00 pm
A fee-based application can be made (until 1 week before the set up starts) for early set-up (three days prior to the start of the event from 7:00 am) where the booth invoice (net) is 5,000.00 EUR or higher and more than 24sqm booth size. The fee due is 275.00 EUR (net). For this purpose, the exhibitor receives 5 specially marked set-up badges. Further set-up badges can be ordered subject to a fee.
Please refer to the traffic guide for exact times for set-up, dismantling and access to the halls (available from September 2026). The pre set-up Monday is not possible for table and wall table booths.
For (wall-) table booths an early set-up on Monday is not possible.
What are the regulations for dismantling?
Dismantling will start on Sunday, October 25th after the end of the trade fair at 6:00 pm.
Please refer to the Traffic Guide for the exact times for set-up and dismantling as well as access to the halls. (Available from beginning of September 2026)
How can I get to the exhibition grounds and the halls by car?
Please also refer to the Traffic Guide for information on hall access, parking and deposit regulations. (Available from beginning of September 2026)
What security measures are in place for my stand and my goods?
Security personnel are on duty around the clock in the halls. In addition, you can book an individual stand guard for your booth for a fee or rent your own safe. Please contact us by e-mail at support@munichshow.com.

Can I have my goods locked up overnight?
BRINKS also offers the possibility to store goods overnight during the entire duration of the event. Please send your request for this by e-mail to germanybgsmucimport@brinksglobal.com.

How many exhibitor badges will I receive for my stand?
Depending on the size of your stand, the following number of badges is included in the price:

Please note:
- Your free Exhibitor passes/Print@home tickets will be included on your final invoice.
- Exhibitor passes/Print@home tickets can only be used by your stand staff. They are personalized, non-transferable
- Exhibitor passes/Print@home tickets that you ordered but did not use will not appear on your invoice.
- In the Exhibitor passes section, you can order them for yourself and your employees, as well as view information about the status of your passes.
We reserve the right to carry out random checks during the trade fair.
How can I order additional exhibitor badges?
If you need additional badges, you can order them online in your exhibitor profile. They can be personalized and printed directly afterwards.
Additional badges are charged with EUR 55,- incl. VAT per piece.
When will I receive my exhibitor badges?
Starting on August 1st, 2026 you will be able to personalize your exhibitor badges online in your exhibitor profile, download them as PDF files and then print them.
Please note that there will be NO postal shipping!
On site, we will provide lanyards and badge sleeves in the entrance area so that you can wear your badge clearly visible.
When will the Online Ticket Shop be open?
From June 1st, the Ticket Shop will be open for all types of visitor and trade visitor tickets.
How can I invite my customers to the Munich Show?
To enable your customers to visit the show free of charge, you have two options:
- Ready-made guest tickets in PDF form for printing out, which only need to be personalized by hand. These tickets can be used on one of the Show days, also for the trade visitor days.
- Guest ticket codes that give your customers one free ticket for the Munich Show per code in the online store. Please note, tickets for the trade visitor days can only purchased after finalizing the buyer registration on our homepage.
For each redeemed guest ticket, you will be charged EUR 14,- excl. VAT after the Munich Show. You can request all guest ticket options by e-mail at service@munichshow.com using the guest ticket order form and will then receive a ZIP folder with the PDFs or an Excel spreadsheet with your codes.
In addition, you can provide your customers with an individual 20 % discount code, which we will send to you with the stand confirmation. This code can be used to purchase discounted admission tickets exclusively in the Online Ticket Shop. This offer is not associated with any costs for you as an exhibitor!
How can set-up helpers and booth constructors enter the exhibition grounds?
For additional set-up helpers on Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st there is the possibility to purchase set-up badge for EUR 25,- incl. VAT per piece online in your exhibitor profile on the homepage.
If you have commissioned an exhibition construction company to build your booth, please notify them in advance by e-mail to support@munichshow.com in order to have access and admission to the grounds approved.

Are children allowed at the Munich Show?
Children are very welcome at the Munich Show and can enjoy a large hands-on area. Admission for children up to the age of 4 is free of charge, from 6 to 14 years the children's day ticket costs EUR 14,-.

What advertising opportunities are there around and at the Munich Show?
Numerous advertising spaces are available on site, on the website and in the Munich Show app. All information on this and how to order can be found in the Media Kit online from June 15th on.
Are there marketing templates that I can integrate into my customer communications?
In your exhibitor profile you can download your individualized Munich Show signature (banner with booth number) from August 15th. You can integrate this on your website, in your email signature or in your newsletter.
Is there an exhibitor directory?
At the Munich Show on site, there are hall plans with the alphabetical list of exhibitors.
On our homepage you can find the digital exhibitor directory with plans and it is also possible to specify your range of goods, including pictures. Updating your exhibitor entry will is possible via your exhibitor profile on the Munich Show homepage.

Is it permitted to take photographs and film at the Munich Show?
If you would like to take photographs or film footage for your own private use, please obtain permission in advance from the persons visible on the images or from the exhibitors whose goods are depicted.
For all photographs intended for journalistic purposes, for other publication, e.g. in social media, or for further commercial use, press accreditation or approval by the trade fair management is required. Please send requests in writing in advance to pr@munichshow.com.
Will I be photographed or filmed at the Munich Show?
During the Munich Show, photos and videos will be taken by event staff and used for documentation and post-event reporting as well as promotion of subsequent events (e.g. homepage, print media, photo galleries, social networks).
These recordings are associated with the pictorial representation of persons present. The selection of persons is purely random.
By entering the event grounds/exhibition halls or purchasing an admission ticket, the persons present automatically consent to publication free of charge in the above-mentioned manner without the need for an express declaration by the person concerned. If the person in question does not agree to publication in individual cases, please notify the photographer responsible for finding the subject immediately.
May I take my dog with me to the trade fair?
We regret to inform you that pets are not allowed anywhere on the grounds of Messe München and that there are no facilities for temporary accommodation during your visit to the trade fair.
Where can I find accommodation near the trade fair center?
The city of Munich offers numerous accommodation options - feel free to take a look at the homepage of the Munich Tourist Office with booking options.
Is smoking allowed on the trade fair ground?
Smoking is only permitted on the trade fair ground in the atrium and in front of the entrance area at the Entrance WEST in specially designated areas.
Is WiFi available on the exhibition grounds?
The Munich Show provides free WiFi hotspots during the event. The hotspots are located at the restaurants.

Where can I rent a handcart/trolley?
This year, as usual, you can rent and return handcarts at M2Logistik. The costs are EUR 20,- per day plus EUR 50,- deposit in cash.
