The Munich Show – Gemworld Munich will once again offer a central platform for promoting young talent in the gemstone and jewelry industry in 2025. Young talents will not only gain an insight into various trades, but will also be able to exchange ideas directly with training centers, experts and designers. Live demonstrations, creative competitions and information stands make careers in gemstones, jewelry and design accessible to pupils, students and career changers.

Die Berufsbildende Schule Idar-Oberstein – Harald Fissler Schule – B6.445
The Idar-Oberstein Vocational School, also known as the Harald Fissler School, has been an integral part of the Munich Show for many years. It is regarded as a competence center for training in the gemstone trade and brings its expertise to the trade fair every year. Trainees demonstrate their skills live at the school's stand: Visitors can experience first-hand how gemstones are precisely cut and artistically engraved. The combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology impressively demonstrates the high quality of the training provided there. The dual system enables apprentices to closely combine theory and practice – a successful model that is internationally recognized. The presentation at the Munich Show illustrates just how much specialist knowledge, sensitivity and creativity is involved in these professions.

Die Goldschmiedeschule mit Uhrmacherschule Pforzheim – Stand B6.344
The Goldschmiedeschule Pforzheim with its affiliated watchmaking school is one of Europe's most traditional training centers for jewelry, watches and design. Young people have been trained here at the highest level since 1768. At the Munich Show 2025, the school will provide exciting insights into its diverse training programs. On site, trainees will demonstrate how chains are made, gemstones set and semi-precious stones cut. These live demonstrations not only give a realistic impression of everyday working life, but also illustrate the enormous precision and craftsmanship required for these professions. The school also provides information about various training and further education opportunities, from traditional apprenticeships to design-oriented degree courses.

Young Designer´s Corner Award
Another important component of the promotion of young talent is the area for young designers. For over ten years, the Munich Show has offered international up-and-coming talents a stage for their creative jewelry ideas with the “Young Designers Corner”. In a dedicated exhibition area, they can present their designs, make contacts with the industry and receive valuable feedback.
