International Jewelry Competition for Young Designers

We are looking for you!
Since 2012, the Munich Show - Mineralientage München has been presenting the “Young Designers Corner” award - a prize for young talents from the jewelry industry. The competition offers dedicated creatives the opportunity to present themselves on an international stage and demonstrate their skills. A top-class jury of experts selects the eight finalists. The criteria for judging the jewelry and watches: Innovation, suitability for everyday use and technical/artistic realization.
Many former participants have since established themselves as successful jewelry designers in renowned companies or have launched their own collections on the market. Previous winners include talented designers such as Jasmina Jovy, Eliana Petsch, Josef Kammerlander and Cecilia Accardo.
The eight finalists will present their works to decision-makers from the jewelry industry and an international audience at Gemworld 2025.
The closing date for entries is August 31, 2025.
We look forward to receiving numerous creative entries.
Here's what you can win:
1st place: €1,500 prize money
2nd place: 1,000€ prize money
3rd place: 500 € prize money

Conditions of Participation
1./ Training (craft/(technical) college) in the fields of jewelry design, goldsmithing/silversmithing or comparable
2 / Still in training or graduated within the last 3 years (deadline 31.08.2022)
3 / Submission of complete application documents by the closing date (CV, copy of degree certificate, written design concept with image/sketch of the object from at least 2 perspectives)
4th / Evaluation criteria:
- Innovation
- Technical realization
- Suitability for everyday use
